We’ve picked our favourite places that offer an affordable cup of coffee and are located along the LRT and ETS routes so you don’t have to wait too long for that cup of deliciousness.
With local art adorning the walls, twinkling lights, and a cozy atmosphere, Block 1912 is a stellar spot for a fall hangout.
This easy-going coffee shop is best known for its espresso-based drinks, gelato, desserts, and sandwiches. Make it a point to check them out on a Monday or Thursday to enjoy their live jazz and music performances.
Block 1912 is about 30-minutes away by LRT from Le Louvre.
Blenz Coffee is a favourite among our team at Le Louvre! Blenz is a well-known café that specializes in individually crafted coffees, proprietary teas, and chocolate and fruit-based beverages. They offer a welcoming and relaxed social setting for you to gather with friends.
Their downtown location is 25-mins away by LRT.
Square 1 Coffee
Square 1 Coffee is owned and operated by Jonathan and Brandy Brozny. Their café offers specialty coffee, delicious treats and a space that feels like home. All their baked goods and food is prepared in-house. So if you’re on the hunt for a place to study, work or get some reading done, this is the place for you.
Their first location is in Aspen Gardens, which is an 8-minute drive or bus ride from Le Louvre. They recently opened a second location in Glenora!
You can always count on Jasper Avenue’s Coffee Bureau for your early morning caffeine fix. The stylish and down-to-earth atmosphere has made this spot a favourite in the city.
Besides their wide variety of coffee drinks, tea, and baked goods, locals and visitors alike go crazy for the fresh bagels brought in from Montreal every week.
Coffee Bureau is a 25-minute LRT ride away.
Crum Coffee Bar
Crum Coffee Bar is a local spot that is owned by a sister duo, each with their own experience managing separate Second Cup franchises. They came together to create their own unique cafe experience for coffee and espresso lovers alike.
Le Louvre is only a 10-minute drive away or 25-minutes by LRT and bus from Crum Coffee Bar!
With two downtown locations and a third off 124th street, Credo is well known for its quality coffee. The owners believe in the philosophy that every cup of coffee served should be the highest possible standard of quality and taste.
Aside from their typical espresso-based drinks, they offer a kid’s beverage menu and in-house baked delectable pastries.
Le Louvre is about a 20 or 30-minute drive or LRT ride from the Credo Coffee locations in downtown Edmonton.
